Ricardo Palomares Gonzalez
Ricardo Palomares Gonzalez is an author, filmmaker, explorer, and motivational speaker from Mexico City. He has backpacked South America, walked across Spain, and cycled from Alaska to Argentina in a quest to love, know, and live in communion with the force greater than himself. After a profound spiritual awakening, Ricardo devoted himself to living and sharing the Toltec spiritual-warrior tradition known as The Path of the Feathered Serpent. Ricardo lives in San Antonio, Texas as well as Austria with his wife Lena.
Riley Engemoen
Riley Engemoen is a Texas-based director and cinematographer whose work includes branded and nonprofit documentaries for clients including BMW, Airbnb, Vice, Texas Monthly, and The Nature Conservancy. His films have screened at AFI Fest, Woodstock Film Festival, and SXSW — where he received the 2026 Jury Award for Texas Shorts. In 2019, he received a National Endowment for the Arts grant supporting Grown Without Water. He founded Netta Lou Creative, a documentary and commercial studio in Austin.
Thomas Allison
Thomas Allison is a photographer, writer, and filmmaker specializing in conservation and ecological storytelling. Thomas trained as a photojournalist before falling in love with the moving image on his journey from Alaska to Argentina with the Pedal South crew. When he's not exploring the world by bike, car, or canoe, Thomas lives in Eugene, Oregon with his wife Melody, his daughter June, and their fluffy mutt Walter.
Dyar Bentz
Austin-based independent cinematographer, photographer, and writer Dyar Bentz employs a dynamic humanist style throughout his industry-spanning work, including short-form documentary, indie narrative films, travel writing articles, music videos, and live broadcast coverage. A voracious cinephile and reader, Dyar spends his free time devouring and dissecting classic movies through the Austin Film Society and performing poetry and short fiction readings throughout the local literary scene.
